Description

Qualcomm has issued a new version of Eudora. This fixes two vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious people to crash the program or local users to see sensitive information.

1) It is possible to cause a Denial of Service by sending an email with a spoofed "Attachment Converted" line. Eudora crashes when the malicious email is viewed.

2) Attachments and images in encrypted emails are saved unencrypted locally even if the user didn't choose to save the messages. This can be exploited by malicious users to view parts of encrypted mails.

Solution:
Update to version 6.0.1.
