Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in NetServe Web Server allowing malicious people to conduct directory traversal attacks.

The problem is that NetServe fails to verify the requested URL allowing malicious people to supply the "../" character sequence. This can be exploited to to view the contents of any directory or file, which the web server process has read access to.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.07. Other versions may also be affected.
