Description

A vulnerability has been identified in Applied Watch Server, allowing malicious people to add users and manipulate rules.

The problem is that it is possible to send certain system commands directly without authentication to the Applied Watch Server on the internal (protected) interface. This can be exploited to e.g. create new user accounts and custom IDS alerts.
