Description:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in IBM Tivoli Directory Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct Cross-Site Scripting attacks and view sensitive information.

1) The vulnerability is caused due to missing input validation in the Web Admin interface (ldacgi.exe). This can be exploited by supplying arbitrary HTML or script code to the "Action" parameter, which will cause it to be executed in a user's browser session when viewed.

Example:
https://[victim]/ldap/cgi-bin/ldacgi.exe?Action=<script>alert(document.domain)</script>

2) An input validation error in "ldacgi.exe" can be exploited to access directories outside the web root via the "../" directory traversal character sequence using the "Template" parameter.

This has been reported in version 3.2.2 and 4.1.
