Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Xoops, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and manipulate banner content.
An input validation error in "banners.php" can be exploited to include arbitrary SQL code in the "$cid" variable. This can be exploited to display arbitrary banners or gain knowledge of valid user accounts and hashed passwords in some configurations where "magic_quotes_gpc" is set to "OFF".
Errors in "edituser.php" and "imagemanager.php" can also be exploited to redefine arbitrary local variables.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in versions 1.3.x and 2.0.x versions prior to 2.0.5.1.
Solution: Update to version 2.0.5.1.
