Description: Chintan Trivedi has reported a vulnerability in Xoops, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting attacks.
The "/modules/mylinks/myheader.php" script returns the "url" parameter without any prior sanitation. This can be exploited by including arbitrary HTML or script code in a user's browser session, which will be executed when viewed.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.0.5.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2.0.5.2 or later.
