Description:
Tim Hurman has reported a vulnerability in Nokia 6310i, allowing malicious people to cause a Denial of Service.
The problem is that Nokia 6310i fails to handle certain malformed Object Exchange (OBEX) messages, which may cause the phone to crash and reboot.
An attack can be conducted using BlueTooth, infrared, and serial connections. The devices do not need to be paired.
Reportedly, Nokia has acknowledged the vulnerability.
