Description: Bruno Morisson has reported a vulnerability in Red-Alert, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
An error in the inbuilt web server can be exploited to reboot a vulnerable Red-Alert appliance by sending an overly long (about 1230 bytes) string to the service. Successful exploitation will clear all information about logged events.
The vulnerability has been reported in hardware version 2.7.5, software v3.1 build 24.
