Description:
Niels Heinen has reported a vulnerability in Mutt, potentially allowing malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The problem is that malicious email messages can cause a buffer overflow. This can be exploited to crash the mutt client and potentially execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the current user.

This issue affects version 1.4.1 and prior.

Solution:
This has been fixed in version 1.4.2.
