Description:
Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in GdkPixbuf, which can be exploited by malicious people to crash certain applications on a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a handling error when displaying BMP images. This can be exploited by tricking a user into viewing a specially crafted BMP image with an extremely large value in the "bfOffBits" field of the BMP file header.

The vulnerability affects versions prior to 0.20.
