The vulnerabilities are caused by two boundary errors in the IDENT protocol support ("auth_ident()" function) and three format string errors in various logging functionality.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in versions 3.6.2, 3.6.1, 3.6.0, 3.9.93, and 3.9.92. Other versions may also be affected.
