Description:
Rafal Ivgi has reported some vulnerabilities in VirtuaNews, allowing malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting attacks.

The problem is that input passed to the "admin.php" and "search.php" scripts isn't properly verified before it is returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in versions 1.02 and 1.03. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly filtered.
