Description

kang has reported a vulnerability in Safari, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a Denial of Service.

The problem is that Safari fails to handle the creation of a very large arrays using JavaScript, which causes Safari to crash with a segmentation fault.

Execution of arbitrary code has not currently been proven but cannot be completely ruled out.

The vulnerability has been reported in Safari versions 1.2 and prior.
