Description:
Sun has reported multiple vulnerabilities in Solaris, potentially allowing malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges on a vulnerable system.

The vulnerabilities are reportedly caused due to multiple boundary errors in "uucp". These can be exploited by certain users to cause buffer overflows and may allow execution of arbitrary code with escalated privileges (root).
