Description

A security issue has been reported in Apache on big-endian 64bit systems, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain restrictions.

The problem is that "mod_access" fails to properly enforce IP restrictions that are defined without a proper netmask. This may allow access to restricted resources.

The issue affects Apache 1.3.29 and prior on big-endian 64bit systems. Other architectures are not affected.

Solution
The development version 1.3.31 is not vulnerable.
