Description:
Simon Baptiste has reported a vulnerability in SPIP, allowing malicious people to inject arbitrary PHP code.

The problem is that user input passed to certain parameters in the "forum.php3" script isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code with the privileges of the web server process.

The vulnerability has been reported in versions prior to 1.7.

Solution:
The vulnerability does reportedly not affect version 1.7 or later.
