Description: Andreas Steinmetz has reported a weakness in Apache 2 mod_disk_cache, allowing a malicious, administrative user to see user credentials for remote web sites.
The problem is that mod_disk_cache stores the headers of request including authentication information. An administrative user can therefore collect user credentials by looking in cached documents.
Reportedly, this can't be exploited from remote to gain access as a different user to a web site.
This has been rated "Not Critical" because an administrative user of a proxy server can retrieve this information in other ways.
The weakness has been reported in version 2.0.49 and prior.
