Description: Cheng Peng Su has reported a vulnerability in phpBB, allowing malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting attacks.
The problem is that input passed to the "avatarselect" parameter in "profile.php" isn't properly verified before it is returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.
The vulnerability has been reported in phpBB 2.0.6d. Other versions may also be affected.
