Description: Shaun Colley has reported a vulnerability in Xine, which can potentially be used by malicious users to gain escalated privileges.
The problem is that the scripts "xine-bugreport" and "xine-check" create temporary files in an insecure manner. This can be exploited through symlink attacks to gain escalated privileges.
