Description: Dave Aitel has reported that the CDE implementation in Sun Solaris is affected by a vulnerability in the dtlogin service. This can potentially be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability has been reported in version Solaris 8. However, other versions may also be affected.

Solution: Disable listening for XDMCP requests from X-terminals.
This is done by setting "Dtlogin.requestPort:" to zero in "/usr/dt/config/Xconfig".
