Description: Janek Vind has reported a vulnerability in phpBB, allowing malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
The problem is that input passed to the "pm_sql_user" parameter isn't properly verified before it is used in an SQL query. This can be exploited by malicious people to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
An example has been posted, which can be exploited to extract usernames and password hashes.
The vulnerability affects version 2.0.8 and prior.
