Description:
blexim has discovered a vulnerability in MPlayer, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

A boundary error within the "http_build_request()" HTTP header parsing function can be exploited via an overly long string in the "Location:" header. This causes a heap overflow and may allow execution of arbitrary code on the user's system.

Successful exploitation requires that a user is tricked into connecting to a malicious server.

The vulnerability has been reported in the following versions:
* MPlayer 0.90pre series
* MPlayer 0.90rc series
* MPlayer 0.90
* MPlayer 0.91
* MPlayer 1.0pre1
* MPlayer 1.0pre2
* MPlayer 1.0pre3
