Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switch and Cisco 7600 Series Internet Router, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing IKE packets and can be exploited to cause a vulnerable network device to reload when receiving a specially crafted IKE packet.

Successful exploitation requires that a Crypto feature set is being used.

Network devices running the following releases of Cisco IOS are affected:
* 12.2SXA (prior to 12.2(17b)SXA)
* 12.2SXB (prior to 12.2(17d)SXB)
* 12.2SX (12.2(17a)SX through 12.2(17a)SX4)
* 12.2SY (prior to 12.2(14)SY3)
