Description: Arjan van de Ven has reported a vulnerability in the Linux Kernel, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The framebuffer driver reportedly uses the "fb_copy_cmap()" function incorrectly. The problem is that data is written to userspace directly instead of using the correct interfaces.
This may violate security boundaries and result in a DoS when copying data.
