Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in paFileDB, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks and disclose sensitive information.
1) Input passed to the "id", "sortby", "filelist", "pages" and $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['REQUEST_URI'] (the URL itself) parameters in "pafiledb.php" isn't properly verified before it is returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML or script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site by tricking the user into visiting a malicious web site or follow a specially crafted link.
2) Input passed to the "action" parameter in "pafiledb.php" isn't properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
3) Input passed to the "start", "formname", "select", "id" and "query" parameters in "pafiledb.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 3.1 and prior.
It has also been reported that various scripts return error messages if invalid input is supplied. This can be exploited to reveal the installation path when error messages haven't been turned off in PHP.
