Description:
Michael Scheidell has reported a vulnerability in 3Com NBX 100 Communications System, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability was reportedly discovered while testing the device with an automated scanning tool (Nessus) and is caused due to an unknown error while handling certain traffic.

Successful exploitation causes the http service to stop responding.

This has been reported to affect firmware version 4_2_7. Other versions may also be affected.
