Description:
Tatsuya Kinoshita has reported a vulnerability in FLIM, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to take certain actions on a vulnerable system with escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to insecure creation of temporary files. This can be exploited via a symlink attack to overwrite arbitrary files with the privileges of the user running Emacs and FLIM.
