Description

JeiAr has reported some vulnerabilities in PHPX, allowing malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting, SQL injection and potentially execute administrative functions.

1) If error messages hasn't been turned off in PHP, the "forums.php" script will return error messages if an invalid value is supplied to the "limit" parameter. This can be exploited to reveal the installation path.

2) Input passed to certain parameters in various scripts isn't properly verified before it is returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML or script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site by tricking the user into visiting a malicious website or follow a specially crafted link.

3) Links to images in private messages aren't properly sanitised before they are stored. Images can contain references to administrative functions, which will be executed when an administrative user reads the message.

The vulnerabilities have been reported to affect version 3.2.6 and prior.

Solution
Reportedly, version 3.3.1 isn't vulnerable.
