Description: badpack3t has reported a vulnerability in MyWeb, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is reportedly caused due to a boundary error within the HTTP request handling. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by passing an overly long GET request (about 4096 bytes) to the web service.
Successful exploitation crashes the service and may potentially also allow arbitrary code execution.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.3. Prior versions may also be affected.
