Description:
Jon Hart has reported a security issue in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious people to enumerate files on an affected system.

The problem is that the SMC (Sun Management Console) web server returns different error messages depending on whether a file exists outside the DocumentBase or not. This can be exploited via a classic directory traversal attack.

The issue has been reported in Sun Solaris 8 and 9 on both the SPARC and x86 platforms.
