Secunia Advisory SA11623TTT-C Multiple Vulnerabilities
Description
Kaloyan Olegov Georgiev has reported some vulnerabilities in TTT-C, allowing malicious people to conduct Cross Site Scripting and script insertion attacks. 1) Input passed to the "link" parameter in "ttt-out" isn't properly verified before it is returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML or script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site by tricking the user into visiting a malicious website or follow a specially crafted link. 2) Certain HTTP headers ("X-Forwarded-For" and "Referer") are logged without validation, allowing injection of potentially malicious character sequences to the log files. 3) Missing input validation of "Site name", "Site URL", "Webmaster e-mail", and "Webmaster ICQ" allows arbitrary HTML and script code to be included in these parameters. This will be executed in an administrative users browser session in context of a vulnerable site when a registration is reviewed. Reportedly, successful exploitation may allow hi-jacking administrative sessions. Some other potential local and proxy connection issues were also reported. The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.
