l0om has reported a security issue in osCommerce, allowing malicious administrative users to view arbitrary local files.

An input validation error in "file_manager.php" can be exploited to access directories outside the web root via the "../" directory traversal character sequence using the "filename" parameter.

The issue has been reported in version 2.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution
The vendor recommends restricting access to the administration section.
