Description:
SGI has reported a vulnerability in IRIX, allowing malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) on the rpc.mountd daemon.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error when processing certain RPC requests, which may result in the daemon entering an infinite loop.
Only IRIX 6.5.24 is reportedly affected.
