Description: Chinchilla has reported a vulnerability in e107, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
The vulnerability is caused due to missing input validation when logging information for site statistics. This can be exploited to display arbitrary HTML and script code in the "Referers" section on "stats.php" by passing specially crafted input to the "referer" parameter in "/e107_plugins/log/log.php".
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary HTML and script code in another persons browser session associated with an affected site when "stats.php" is viewed.
