Description: John C. Hennessy has reported two vulnerabilities in Crafty Syntax Live Help, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to two input validation errors, allowing arbitrary HTML and script code to be inserted in a username when requesting livehelp or into a chat session.
Successful exploitation executes the inserted code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site, when it's viewed.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2.7.3 and prior.
Solution: Update to version 2.7.4.
