Description: Pawel Malachowski has discovered a vulnerability in FreeBSD, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security restrictions.
The problem is that a jailed process with superuser privileges is able to manipulate host routing tables, even though this should be restricted.
Successful exploitation may result in packets being sent to incorrect network interfaces or discarded.
The vulnerability affects all FreeBSD 4.x releases prior to 4.10-RELEASE.
