Description:
Evgeny Demidov has reported a vulnerability in NetBSD, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an integer handling error within the "swapctl()" system call.
Successful exploitation crashes the kernel. It does reportedly not seem possible to exploit the vulnerability to gain escalated privileges.
