Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Pivot, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
1) The "pivot_path" parameter in "modules/module_db.php" isn't properly verified before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local and external resources.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary PHP script code, but requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
A similar vulnerability may reportedly also be present in "modules/module_parser.php".
2) An unspecified error makes it possible to write templates with arbitrary extensions to other folders than the intended.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.10. Other versions may also be affected.
