Description:
Dirk Pirschel has reported a vulnerability in Confixx, which potentially can be exploited by malicious users to gain knowledge of sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the backup script. This can be exploited to disclose the content of arbitrary files in the "/root" directory by passing a specially crafted backup request via the web interface.

Solution:
Update to version 2.0.14 build 20040921.16 or 3.0.4 build 20040831.13.
