Description:
DarkBicho has reported some vulnerabilities in CuteNews, potentially allowing malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "id" parameter in certain scripts isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

Examples:
/show_archives.php?subaction=showcomments&id=[code]
/show_news.php?subaction=showcomments&id=[code]
/example1.php?subaction=showfull&id=[code]
/example2.php?subaction=showfull&id=[code]
/show_news.php?subaction=addcomment&name=name&comments=[code]

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.3.1. Other versions may also be affected.
