Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in popclient, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a off-by-one boundary error within the "POP3_readmsg()" function when processing a specially crafted email with an overly long line.

Successful exploitation crashes the application. According to the reporter, code execution is not believed possible. However, this can't be ruled out completely.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.0b6. Other versions may also be affected.
