Description:
Leandro Meiners has reported a vulnerability in IBM WebSphere Application Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the Caching Proxy and can be exploited to crash the component by sending an incomplete HTTP GET request.

Successful exploitation requires that the "JunctionRewrite" and "UseCookie" directives are enabled.

The vulnerability affects the following versions:
* Caching Proxy Versions 4.0.2.0 through 4.0.2.45 (IBM Edge Server Version 2.0)
* Caching Proxy Versions 5.0.0.2 through 5.0.2.20 (IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 5.0 with IBM Edge Server Fix Pack 2, and IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 5.0.1.x and 5.0.2.x)
* Caching Proxy Versions 5.1.0.0 through 5.1.0.7 (IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 5.1)
