Description:
Frederico Queiroz has reported a vulnerability in Enterasys XSR-1800 and XSR-3000 Series, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a Denial of Service.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the Policy-Based Routing (PBR) functionality when processing IP packets with option 7 "Record Route" causing the router to crash.

This has been reported in devices running firmware 7.0.0.0. Other versions may also be affected.
