Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Comersus Shopping Cart, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks, or manipulate orders.
1) Input passed to certain parameters in the following scripts isn't properly sanitised before being returned to users.
* "store/comersus_customerAuthenticateForm.asp"
* "backofficeLite/comersus_backoffice_message.asp"
* "store/comersus_supportError.asp"
* "store/comersus_message.asp"
This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site by tricking the user into visiting a malicious website or follow a specially crafted link.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 5.09. Other versions may also be affected.
2) Orders are reportedly submitted insecurely via a GET request to the "store/comersus_gatewayPayPal.asp" script. This can be exploited by malicious users to manipulate input in various parameters including pricing.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 5.09. Other versions may also be affected.
3) Input passed to the username or password when logging into the administration interface isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions prior to 4.36.
