Description: Ruben Molina has reported a vulnerability in DansGuardian, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to a canonicalisation error when processing URLs. This can be exploited to bypass the extension filter rules via filenames containing the URL encoded representation of one or more characters.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.8.0 and prior.
