Description: Dmitriy Baranov has reported a vulnerability in aGSM, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when receiving information from a game server. This can be exploited by a malicious server to cause a buffer overflow by returning a specially crafted, overly long Half-life server name (about 148 bytes).
Successful exploitation may lead to execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 2.35c and 2.51c. Other versions may also be affected.
