Description: Audun Larsen has reported a vulnerability in Nihuo Web Log Analyzer, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed in "User-Agent:" headers are not sanitised before being logged. This can be exploited via a specially crafted HTTP request to execute arbitrary HTML or script code in a user's browser session when a malicious entry is viewed.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.6. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a proxy server.
