Description: The vendor has reported a vulnerability in Hastymail, allowing malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
The problem is that HTML parts are loaded inline instead of being downloaded by the client browser, because Hastymail fails to return the proper header. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site when a user chooses to download an attachment.
This has been reported in Stable version 1.0.1 and Development version 1.1. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: This has been fixed in Stable 1.0.2 and Development 1.2.
