Description:
Criolabs has reported multiple vulnerabilities in Password Protect, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) User input passed in the "Login ID" and "Password" fields in "Index.asp" is not sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code and allows bypassing of the user authentication.

The "index_next.asp", "ChangePassword.asp", "users_edit.asp", and "users_add.asp" scripts are reportedly also affected.

2) Input passed to the "ShowMsg" parameter in "Index.asp", "ChangePassword.asp", "users_list.asp", and "users_add.asp" is not sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an vulnerable site by tricking the user into visiting a malicious web site or follow a specially crafted link.
