Description:
Dr_insane has reported multiple vulnerabilities in Keene Digital Media Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and perform administrative actions.

1) Input passed to various parameters is not sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site by tricking the user into visiting a malicious web site or follow a specially crafted link.

Examples:
http://[host]/dms/slideshow.kspx?source=[code]
http://[host]/dms/dlasx.kspx?shidx=[code]
http://[host]/igen/?pg=dlasx.kspx&shidx=[code]
http://[host]/dms/mediashowplay.kspx?pic=[code]&idx=0
http://[host]/dms/mediashowplay.kspx?pic=0&idx=[code]

2) Access is not restricted to all administrative pages and users' permissions are not checked before an administrative task is performed. This allows malicious users to access certain administrative pages and perform arbitrary administrative tasks (e.g. manipulate the login page, delete and add shares, and add administrative users).

The following pages can be accessed:
* adminmessage.kspx
* adminshares.kspx
* adminusers.kspx

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.0.3. Other versions may also be affected.
